Candles Are A Cop Out
Have you ever thought about buying candles as a gift for that someone special? Well, I’m here to say not to do it. Especially if you’re looking for the best gifts for her.
My wife buys candles all the time. When she does it takes her all of about 30 seconds to pick out all the candles she needs. If you’re buying candles for someone on your list chances are they’ve bought candles themselves, and they know how long it takes to buy them. When you do buy candles and give them as gifts, the recipient immediately knows that you spent all of about a minute picking out that gift.
Unless you’re a child buying a gift for a teacher or a distant Aunt and don’t have a lot of money to spend, stay away from candles as a gift item. They just don’t convey the thoughtfulness of a true caring gift. Candles should not be on your best gifts for her, best gifts for Christmas and certainly not the best gifts for him list. Candles are a cop out gift :-)
